Class Notes:
The CNA Certification for English Language Learners is a 16-week, intensive program that enables learners to actively pursue a CNA credential while improving their English language proficiency. Instruction will be provided through in-class lectures/discussions, labs, and on-site clinical practice.

Course Rubric:
Formative assessment: monitoring student progress and providing ongoing feedback throughout a lesson or unit (e.g., exit tickets at the end of class, checking for understanding during class, and quizzes) with the intent to improve instruction and learning outcomes
Summative assessment: cumulative assessment at the end of a unit that determines what a student has learned throughout the unit or throughout a coherently grouped set of lessons (e.g., unit test)
